Dog
The dog is a gentleman; I hope to go to his heaven not man's.".Mark Twain
The more I meet great men
my respect for Dogs grow
They may bark if you trespass
But they won't hit you below.
I wish dogs would teach men
Just this one attitude
To wag his tail and not tonque
As a act of gratitude.
For just a piece of bread
and it surrenders all his life
All may leave but he shall stand by you
Through your misery and strife.
Even when he is sleeping
He watches from the corner of his eyes
He has his ways to express
But be sure he never ever lies.
You may be needy and poor
but the Dog makes you feel rich
Your own family shall desert you
But your puppy shall never ditch.
